International Fencing Challenge of the École Polytechnique

The École Polytechnique (Palaiseau, France) will host the 20th International Fencing Challenge from Februar 9th to Februar 11th. Every year this student competition gathers more than 200 college students from France or abroad : English, German, Belgian, Spanish, French, Irish, Italian and Russian people are usually taking part in it . That is why this event is a friendly gathering, part of our school’s traditions.

Highlights

• Foil, épée and sabre individual female comptetions and team or individual (depending on the number of competitors) male competitions

• Exhibition of disabled sport

• Competition of the cadres and the ancient students of the École

• Artistic fencing show

• Finals in the school’s main lecture theatre

• Ceremony of awards and closing cocktail party

• Prestigious student parties
